Roberto F. Salmon's journey as an artist began long before he even realized his passion for creating. As a child, he struggled to find ways to express himself, often resorting to drawing on any surface he could find.

Despite these early signs of creativity, Roberto pursued a different academic path and earned a formal bachelor's degree in political science from The University of Arizona. However, he never lost his love for art and continued to explore his creative side through visits to museums and exhibitions.

Eventually, Roberto found a way to turn his passion into a side career by adopting the pseudonym Papayon-Irreverent Artist and developing a unique and distinct artistic style. His love of experimentation and fearless approach to art are reflected in his thought-provoking creations, for which he has become known today.
